• Loyalty is very important to wolf packs, and thus it is the same for us. If you wish to become a member of the Cairdeas pack, you must not be in any other. We want your full attention. If you decide to leave the pack to pursue other means, please inform a member so it can be taken care of.

 

• You must be present in both channels, the In Character channel as well as the Out Of Character channel, regardless if roleplaying is happening or not.

 

• Characters must mimic those of a real wolf. No strange powers, unrealistic fur/eye colors, etc. may be used. If you wish for a particular eye color to be used, please address it with an Alpha for permission.

 

• Roleplaying must be longer than 3 sentences, but other than that, we have no limit! Just do your best to be descriptive in your posts, and to just have fun with it!

 

• Be sure to include everyone in your roleplay if possible. We do not want inner circles to form, leaving out others when roleplay is going on. It's rude and not like a family at all, so please be mindful. If someone asks to roleplay, do your best to include them.

 

• We are wolves and that is how we shall act. We focus on being realistic wolves, meaning we act just like a wolf in the wild. While we may sometimes stray from that fact, as we are indeed human, we do not do things wolves cannot do. Yet we use speech, though only english. No wolf may enter our clearing with enstranged fur colorings, wings, elemental powers or the like. You'll be warned to change your character or leave. We are usually "semi-realistic" in our roleplay. If you have a question regarding this, please ask an Alpha.

 

• Please try to keep alts (separate wolf characters) out of the pack. You may roleplay another wolf, but cannot join another pack or Cairdeas.

 

• A wolf has to be at least a year old before training for a rank. Training will be as long as the pack decides. To become a council rank, you must be in the pack for a month or more, and only the Council can decide who trains for a Council rank.

 

• We cannot stress this enough: SHOW UP. ROLE PLAY! That's all we ask for! If you are gone for a month or more, you will be removed.   It isn't required to be on daily, but it is nice! We wont mind if you have other things to do, but if we start noticing when you're absent, there is a problem.

 

• If it is noticed that you're on other websites (Such as DA, WolfHome, etc.) but not in the pack channels, you will be scolded once. If it keeps happening, you will be removed. Loyalty and dedication is a must for this family to work.

 

• Pretty simple, everyone love everyone! Respect is huge within a wolf pack, and within human society. Please keep in mind to be polite.

 

• Literate role-play is expected! This means that you are descriptive and creative and help those you are role-playing with visualize what you are doing. (That’s not to say you must post three paragraphs. BUT MUST BE OVER 3 SENTENCES. Quality over quantity, people.) This also means an ABSENCE of netspeak, chatspeak, l33t, and all around shortcuts in typing. If you are too lazy to type out the words, you are too lazy to role-play and too lazy to be in this pack! (R and U are letters… not words.)

 

 

 

.::. Out of Character Rules .::.

 

 

 

 

• Just like IC, respect needs to be shown OOCly as well. If anyone begins to bully, create drama, or anything close to such, the wolf will be banned for a certain time length. 

 

• Meetings will be held once month, with a Lorenight every few months. All members are expected to try and attend!

 

• We have no age limit in our pack, but keep in mind that our OOC can get pretty crazy! Inappropriate topics may arise, and everyone needs to handle themselves maturely. 

 

• Remember: The pack is your family, and we should treat each other as such. Both IC and OOCly.

 

• Under no circumstance is it appropriate to sext, cyber, yiff, erotic roleplay, etc. with any one in the pack, whether it be IC or OOC. If evidence of this is found, punishment will take place.

 

 

 

.::. Hunting Rules .::.

 

 

 

• Hunts may only be called by Council wolves or Hunters. If you wish to hunt, please check with one of them.

 

• Wolf pups do not begin to hunt until they are at least a year old.

 

• Please hunt realistically. 1 wolf cannot take down a deer. Use common sense and remember not to god mode! Chances are injuries will occur, and not every hunt is successful.

 

• All hunts must be taken into the hunting channel.

 

 

.::. Courting/Mating/Breeding Rules .::.

 

 

• Pups are not allowed to have mates/pre-mates/etc. Wolves do not usually become sexually mature enough to mate until they are at least two years old. This being the case, we want to keep it as real as possible. If you are a pup and want a mate, your character MUST grow up. NO EXCEPTIONS.

 

• We do not allow out of pack courtings/matings.

 

• Wolves may begin Courting at the age of 1 year. Courting is the equivalent of human dating. Once a wolf finds another they wish to get to know better as mate material, they bring their request to the Alphas. After an allotted time, mateship is granted.

 

• Breeding Season is from December - April. Gestation for prgenant females is 59 -63 days.

 

• Only wolves that have mates can breed. The wolves must be two years and older.

 

• Alphas must grant permission to breed. Parents may decide their litters but they are also responsible for finding rpers for them.
